Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia was coached in lessons of leadership and winning by international rugby legend and former All Blacks captain, Sean Fitzpatrick. The agency event, organised by Paul Roebuck, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia and Singapore, coincided with Fitzpatrick’s visit to Malaysia as part of his duties as Vice-Chairman and Academy member of the Laureus Sports Foundation."It was a rare privilege for the agency to be afforded the opportunity to spend some time with a man of Sean's stature and experience on the competitive global stage of professional sport,” said Roebuck. “His story is an inspiration to us all, and one that draws many parallels with what we collectively hope to achieve at our Agency.”During the session, staff from both Saatchi & Saatchi Arachnid and Saatchi & Saatchi Malaysia learned from Fitzpatrick about leading from the front; the importance of passion, commitment and dedication; and keys to cultivating a winning mindset.“For me it goes back to three things I was taught as a kid in New Zealand: Be the best I can be, never ever think I am good enough, and harness the fear of failure. I hope the team in Malaysia will be able to draw inspiration from these things the way I have been able to throughout my career,” said Fitzpatrick.Sean Fitzpatrick is a legend of international rugby and international sport. He was captain of the New Zealand Rugby Team, the All Blacks. He played 92 international rugby matches for the All Blacks from 1986-1998, including a world record of 63 consecutive Test matches and 51 Test matches as captain of New Zealand.
