Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty brand will be expanding its retail distribution to Hong Kong, Macau, Seoul, and Jeju starting from 3 September 2019. Currently, Fenty Beauty has been launched in 17 countries. With this latest expansion, Fenty Beauty will be accessible to consumers in Asia with retail distribution in Hong Kong and Macau at T Galleria by DFS, Sephora, Harvey Nichols, Beauty Bazaar, and Beauty Avenue. In South Korea, the beauty brand will be available at Lotte Duty Free, and Shinsegae Duty Free in Seoul, and Shilla Duty Free in Jeju. Fenty Beauty offers a wide range of products designed with Rihanna’s vision of making sure people everywhere feel represented, with a global line-up of shades and formulas that work for a wide range of skin types and tones. Fenty Beauty was developed in partnership with Kendo Brands, a LVMH-owned beauty developer in 2017.“I created Fenty Beauty because I wanted to make a beauty brand that is inclusive for people everywhere. I want everyone to feel beautiful, recognised and empowered, no matter their ethnicity, culture, skin tone or style,” said Rihanna. One of the highlights of the beauty line is “Fenty Face”, which is being taglined as “Rihanna’s secret to radiance” and has been tested backstage, on stage, and in real life by Rihanna. “With the Fenty Face, I wanted to share a look that everyone can wear every day, any occasion, any age. It’s been my go-to method for years: foundation, concealer, contour, highlight, mattify, then complete with a lip and go. These steps are key to starting your makeup, no matter the look you’re going for,” said Rihanna. In addition to creating and designing every detail in her cosmetics collection, Rihanna has also personally appointed two makeup artists to represent Fenty Beauty around the world – Priscilla Ono and Hector Espinal.
