BCard partners up with A Cut Above as part of a push to grow their members to one million by the end of 2013.BCard is a multi-partner loyalty programme that allows customers to collect and redeem points at BCard participating outlets.  They have an estimated 900,000 members at this point in time.A Cut Above Group of Salons and Academy is the first and only salon in the country to partner with BCard for this loyalty programme.“Known as the ‘Card that Keeps On Giving’, we are constantly seeking for fun and interesting partners to ensure that we constantly provide the best experience and services to our members,” said Gary Teoh, director of BLoyalty (pictured left). This partnership allows customers to collect and redeem points while accessing members-only promotions and discounts. In the works are plans for the BCard to go cardless in the first quarter of next year. Under the new method, BCard members will be able to scan the bar codes using BCard's mobile app without having to produce the physical BCard (the physical card will also be an option). The company will invest RM70,000 to upgrade their mobile app, which also cost RM70,000 to develop."We're always thinking of how to make things better. It sounds simple enough to collect points but there's a whole process of making the customer experience seamless, taking account the limitation of merchants. One of the ways we're trying to address this is through the mobile app," said Yeoh.
