realme unveils world's first Game of Thrones-themed smartphone

realme has unveiled the world’s first-ever Game of Thrones-themed smartphone with the launch of the realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones limited edition, developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

The device, inspired by HBO’s legendary fantasy series Game of Thrones, introduces the world’s first Dragonfire colour-changing technology, blending epic storytelling with cutting-edge innovation to deliver what the brand calls “an immersive narrative experience in your hands.”

Themed “Own your real power,” the global launch took place at the Game of Thrones Studio Tour in Linen Mill Studios, Northern Ireland - the original filming site of the series. The setting, complete with authentic sets, props and costumes, provided a fitting backdrop for the unveiling of a smartphone designed to transport users into the world of Westeros.

During the event, guests experienced the phone’s imaging capabilities and colour-changing technology first-hand while touring the studio, alongside demonstrations of its high-performance hardware and intricate design inspired by the show’s medieval aesthetics.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products to bring the iconic Game of Thrones franchise to a custom device that truly connects with young people,” said Krisva Angnieszca, public relations lead at realme Indonesia.

“This collaboration showcases how realme plays creatively - not just a brand collaboration, but also proof of our continuous innovation in materials, design, and youth experience. We hope everyone is inspired to express themselves boldly and to embrace the meaning of ‘Own your real power.’”

The realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones limited edition delivers a striking black and gold epic ID design with a premium leather finish embossed with the sigils of the Great Houses of Westeros. At its centre lies a 3D Seal of Power - House Targaryen, symbolising the fire and strength behind the collaboration.

The camera module is encased in a 3D golden dragon claw design, adding a medieval touch to the phone’s ultra-slim 7.84mm body. Inspired by Daenerys Targaryen’s rebirth through fire, the Dragonfire colour-changing technology shifts from black to red when exposed to water at 44°C - a metaphor for awakening hidden strength.

The limited-edition box itself is a collector’s item, designed like Daenerys’ dragon egg chest. It includes an Iron Throne phone stand, a King’s Hand pin, photo cards, stickers, and a sealed parchment letter, giving fans a tactile connection to the world of Game of Thrones from the moment they unbox the device.

Underneath its fantasy-inspired design, the device delivers flagship-level performance: an All 50MP Camera, All 4K60FPS recording, and exclusive Game of Thrones-themed filters and AI features. The new AI Edit Genie allows users to transform their clothing into medieval styles with a single command, while the Ice and Fire UI themes create dynamic, immersive visual effects.

Powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, 7000mAh Titan Battery, and 80W Ultra Charge, the smartphone balances performance and endurance. The realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones limited edition is available through both online and offline channels, limited to 5,000 units globally.

In Indonesia, buyers during the open sale period will receive a premium gift box, BundlingMAX Simpati 24GB, free Prime Video and WeTV subscriptions, cashback offers, and instalment options up to 12 months with 0% interest.

With this release, realme continues to position itself as a brand that blends technology and creativity, crafting experiences that go beyond function to inspire imagination. It is also available in countries such as India, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
