Publicis Media’s full-service media agency, Mediavest | Spark, is rebranding as Spark Foundry, highlighting its ongoing commitment to evolution. The agency’s services include areas such as analytics, technology and information, insights and content, in addition to media and investment.
According to the press release, the new name reflects the company’s vision of combining an innovative business approach with the “full resources, capabilities and marketplace clout” of Publicis Media.
One of the five global media agency brands within Publicis Media, Spark Foundry has offices in 28 markets, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong and China. The Singapore office is headed by managing director, Starcom & Mediavest, Ian Loon, while Malaysia is headed by managing director Wong Piyee. Deputy general managers Margaret Ho and Shirley Lau both helm the Hong Kong office.
The agency has won several new accounts including MTV, KFC, Diageo and Virgin Mobile since coming together as Mediavest | Spark in March 2016. Earlier this year, it was appointed by French marketer, Bel Group, as its media agency across 20 markets. Expedia also appointed Mediavest as its media agency for the Southeast Asia region in March.
“Spark Foundry’s unique vision brings a palpable energy that is proven to drive results for our clients,” Publicis Media CEO, Steve King (pictured) said. “I am confident that Spark Foundry will build on this momentum and continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients as we unlock new and exciting opportunities together in markets across the world.”
