Publicis Media’s Data, Technology and Innovation (DTI) practice has made five key senior hires and appointments for Asia Pacific.
Marc Langenfeld has come on board as the programmatic strategy lead; Janet Leung has joined as director of product; Nicole Watson as director of strategy; and Jiyoun Yoon as director of data & technology. Joelle Siew has been promoted from senior account manager to director of activation, after four years with the team.
All five leads will report to Jonathan Mackenzie, head of data, technology and innovation, Publicis Media Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Publicis Media, Langenfeld was most recently the regional account director at AMNET and previously the digital director at Carat Australia, where he spent over four years. Leung worked at Amobee before joining Publicis Media. Prior to that, she worked at Accuen, Adconion Media Group and OMD.
Watson was last with Xaxis as an engagement lead and has worked at TBWA and Temasek Holdings. Yoon was most recently with Eyeota, a data management technology company, and has led eXelate’s data operations team.
According to the press statement, the roles were created in response to “the rapidly evolving ecosystem of technology, platforms and data and recognise the need for talent from diverse backgrounds to drive innovation, strategic thinking and operational execution”.
Mackenzie said: “Senior talent investment drives multi-dimensional products forward. We recognise the importance of data and technology in the delivery of media solutions to power our brands like Starcom, Zenith, Mediavest | Spark, Blue 449 and Performics, and to provide quality assurances that marketers rightfully demand.”
