Prudential appoints new chief of corporate affairs

Prudential has appointed Zoe Hibbert (pictured) as chief of corporate affairs, effective immediately. Hibbert will report to the company CEO Anil Wadhwani. 

Within her new role, Hibbert will oversee Prudential’s corporate affairs function, including communications, events and brand strategy.

This appointment reflects Prudential’s continued commitment to investing in its communications capabilities and to strengthening its brand across Asia and Africa, according to the release.

Based in Hong Kong, Hibbert brings over 35 years of communications experience across Asia and North America to this role. She held senior positions at global financial institutions, most recently at Visa, where she led the global corporate and North America communications teams. 

Prior to this, Hibbert led the Asia Pacific communications function for Visa, as well as the product, innovation and marketing team. Before joining Visa, Hibbert served as the managing director of Burson-Marsteller's Australian operations, where she had worked for more than 14 years.

Most recently, Prudential joined forces with AllRightsReserved (ARR) and Fujiko Pro to unveil the "100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS" Tour (Hong Kong), exhibition in Hong Kong, with Prudential serving as the lead sponsor for the event.

From 13 July to 4 August, the “100% DORAEMON & FRIENDS” tour exhibition will take place at Avenue of Stars and Tsim Sha Tsui Harbourfront to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Doraemon’s creator Fujiko F Fujio.

The exhibition will feature the world’s tallest 12-meter inflatable sculpture of Doraemon, accompanied by 34 1:1 life-sized sculptures of Doraemon from manga and animation series, as well as ten Doraemon’s friends and family.
