International production agency The Sweet Shop has all eyes on Asia, and it has taken the first step by opening a new lead office in Shanghai.
The move has expanded the agency’s presence to a total of seven offices around the world, including Bangkok, Auckland, Sydney, Melbourne, London and Los Angeles.
Paul Prince, founder and CEO of The Sweet Shop, said the Shanghai office will play a dynamic role in “providing quick fire response and creative production solutions to clients and agencies across Mainland China”, and that the agency will differentiate itself by producing content to an international standard while showing understanding of the local market.
Heading up the new Shanghai hub is Laura Geagea(pictured), who will take on the new position of managing director, China. Geagea was previously The Sweet Shop’s Asia’s executive producer for Asia MENA. Prior to that, she was a freelance producer.
