Prodigious names Michael Burgess CEO for APAC and MEA

Publicis Groupe has appointed Michael Burgess (pictured) as CEO of Prodigious, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. In this newly created role, Burgess will oversee the operations of Prodigious across the region, reporting directly to Loris Nold, CEO Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa for Publicis Groupe.Based in Singapore, Burgess will start his new role on 13 August 2018. He brings with him 26 years of experience, of which more than 15 across the region and most recently as CEO for H&O in APAC.Nold said in a statement that Burgess will help lead the next chapter of Publicis Groupe's Prodigious expansion as it continues to aim to be an indispensable partner to clients and focus on dynamic, efficient and agile content. Prodigious currently has 11 offices in the region, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Sydney, Melbourne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Beirut, Dubai and Cape Town."In his role, Burgess will also be instrumental in stepping up the connectivity between the individual markets, building centres of excellence and a more fluid engagement for the benefit of our clients," Nold added."I am excited to join Publicis Groupe given its incredible commitment to accelerating its Prodigious offering across the region. I am looking forward to working very closely with the individual markets and support them as they capitalise on those opportunities," Burgess said.
