Prenetics appoints Gusto Luxe as communications partner in COVID-19 testing tie-in

Genetic testing and digital health company Prenetics' brand in Asia CircleDNA, has appointed Gusto Luxe as its communications and marketing partner in Hong Kong.

The agency is tasked with developing communications strategies for the brand in the city, driving media opportunities and developing consumer facing campaigns and influencer outreach for the COVID-19 testing programme.

“We admire CircleDNA’s mission and we are delighted to have a key role in such an important project. Since we began working together on the 'Don’t Test, Don’t Know' campaign, we understand just how crucial it is for people in Hong Kong to get tested quickly, and receive results the next day," said Nick Cakebread, founding partner of Gusto Luxe.

Speaking of the appointment, Danny Yeung, CEO and co-founder for the Prenetics Group, commented, “At this crucial time, we need a trusted and strategic partner to oversee a smart and robust awareness programme for our services. We had already worked with Gusto Luxe and were impressed with their integrated approach to communications, proactivity and creativity. We are delighted to work together on a long term basis.”

Prenetics has recently been selected as the only Hong Kong-based testing laboratory for the Hong Kong government-sponsored COVID-19 testing programme. This will be helping to test more than 300,000 people, including all restaurant staff in Hong Kong, the Hospital Authority's general out-patient clinics, foreign domestic helpers, and travellers arriving from high-risk countries to safeguard the community.
