Posterscope Philippines, the out-of-home agency of the Dentsu Aegis Network, announced that Prism Monitor, outdoor media monitoring tool, is now online, allowing clients to track their OOH campaigns across the country on the go.
Rather than wait for the images from an OOH monitoring report via e-mail, Posterscope clients can now view them organized in a web based dashboard that can be accessed anywhere with a stable internet connection on any device, including smartphones.
But more important than accessibility, the system has a third party to create independent reports that does not rely on the ones submitted by suppliers and media owners to ensure accuracy. A network of around 100 people are currently deployed in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao for the task.
Officially implemented last May, Vinay Goel (pictured), general manager of Posterscope Philippines, says that Prism Monitor brings much-needed credibility in the OOH industry with more reliable monitoring reports that are more difficult to tamper. The tool is now available to all our existing clients and all the existing campaigns are online.
“By pushing monitoring services online we want to showcase our accountability in terms of managing campaigns post implementation. We at Posterscope always believe role of OOH communication agency is not only to propose and buy OOH media.
“I now think by launching this service without any additional cost to our clients we are able to drive our responsibility in tracking the deliveries of investments our clients have been doing,” he adds.
Prism Monitor also benefits people on the ground by allowing them to send OOH monitoring reports directly with their mobile phones. Also, having people already near the OOH assets makes reporting faster and accountable since it comes directly from the field.
Previously, monitoring reports are fairly time consuming, involving sending a representative to tour a region for days to write a report that usually takes weeks to complete. In comparison, Prism Monitor can deliver reports as frequent as weekly updates and have multiple people check on the whole campaign simultaneously.
Prism Monitor is part of Prism, a suite of OOH tools and system which is Posterscope offers to clients globally covering areas from planning (using OCS, Out of home consumer survey), touch point mapping, competition tracking, media scoring, creative support and online monitoring.
To date, the agency is handling 25 brands since its official launch in February 2014. This includes Nokia, Asian Brewery (Colt 45, Cobra, Absolute), Mondelez (Tang, Toblerone, Cadbury, Oreo) and InteMed Marketing Philippines (Cherifer).
