Pos Ad Media announces new CEO

One of Malaysia’s largest in-store branding and shopper engagement solutions provider, Pos Ad Media, has named its new chief executive officer, Sherlyne Yong. She succeeds Samantha Tan, who has left the group for other ventures.In her new role, Yong will be responsible for directing and managing Pos Ad Media and maintaining its position as a leader in its industry.Prior to this appointment, Yong was the country trade marketing head at Samsung Malaysia. She has spearheaded the innovative Samsung Experience stores throughout the country, whose model has been replicated across Samsung’s global retail network.Yong is also recognised for numerous awards, including Samsung’s Global Annual Award, the Southeast Asia CEO Recognition Award and the Annual Platinum Award – Sales and Marketing.Yong shares with A+M that she is honoured to be appointed as CEO of Pos Ad Media, believing that the company has an exciting future ahead.“I am committed to delivering strategies and solutions to generate increased value for customers and look forward to leading Pos Ad into the next stage of its development and growth.”Executive chairman and group managing director of Pos Ad Group, Sue Ann Chew, said that Yong’s stellar track record in managing the innovation and execution of retail  branding solutions will undoubtedly help its customers gain increased consumer reach and engage shoppers at heightened levels.Yong holds a graduate degree from the University of Western Australia and has over 20 years of experience in managing sales, brand marketing, shopper marketing and trade marketing. She has previously served with leading multinational companies such as McDonald’s Gillette and Colgate Palmolive.
