POP MART has brought its first Halloween experience to Indonesia, transforming the atrium of Summarecon Mall Bekasi into an immersive world inspired by its Attic of Oddities collection.

Running from 16 September to 28 October, the six-week activation occupies the Oval Garden Atrium at Summarecon Mall Bekasi 2, combining large-scale installations, product displays, interactive activities and storytelling.

The activation marks POP MART’s first Halloween pop-up experience in Indonesia as the designer collectibles company continues to build experiences around its intellectual property beyond its products.

At the centre of the space is a five-metre inflatable CRYBABY installation, alongside a giant HIRONO installation designed to bring the character and its emotional world into a larger physical setting.

Visitors can also explore Halloween-themed products, with The Attic of Oddities and HIRONO After Dark serving as the main collections featured at the pop-up. Other popular releases and best-selling collectibles are also available, spanning blind boxes, collectible figures, plush pendants and lifestyle merchandise.

The experience includes dedicated photo spots and product showcases, as well as activity areas designed to bring visitors closer to the characters and the campaign's storytelling.

Across the six-week run, POP MART will also stage weekly activities including face-painting sessions and creative DIY workshops. The activities are intended to give fans, families and collectors more hands-on ways to engage with the Halloween theme.

The activation features several of POP MART's IPs, including MOLLY, DIMOO, SKULLPANDA, THE MONSTERS, HIRONO, CRYBABY and TWINKLE TWINKLE.

For POP MART, the pop-up extends its approach to designer collectibles into experiential entertainment, using physical environments and interactive activities to deepen engagement with its characters and collections.

The company, founded in 2010, operates across designer collectibles, theme parks and experiential services, and digital entertainment. According to the company, its products are currently available through more than 670 stores, 2,800 roboshops and major eCommerce platforms globally.
