Playworks, a monthly magazine was first launched in 2000.
Meanwhile, the publisher of the title has launched a monthly print title GG, headed by editor-in-chief Gibbson Ang.

GG claims to have a monthly print run of 100,000 copies as compared to 15,000 copies for Playworks magazine. The title although is not audited currently, has audit plans for the future.
Advertisers for the new publication include brands such as SingTel, HMV, Asus, Corbell, Wii, Microsoft and others.
GG currently targets gaming and tech enthusiasts aged 16-35 in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The title is distributed through various comic and tech stores including stores such as Challenger, Funzcentre, Gamescore and HMV.
GG also has plans to launch an online version of the newspaper that will be available in the three markets.
