Pixlr has launched the Pixlr 2022 with new features that will amplify a user's image editing and designing experience onto the next level. According to Pixlr, it has evolved from being just an editing tool to a practical design tool that perfectly fits every user. Symbolising a modern twist to the Pixlr tools, the Pixlr 2022 empowers all users to do more than just photo editing. Users are now able to play with effects, designs, and animations in one place while keeping Pixlr's DNA of reimagining photo editing.

This new version includes AI-powered features that come fully equipped with a new interactive animation function, brushes with more tablet-friendly functionality and a healing tool that allows users to retouch and edit up to 50 images at once. With these improvements, Pixlr aims to make designs faster, smarter, and easier for its user. Moving on par with the latest developments in photo editing, Pixlr 2022 provides magical touches to let users remove unwanted textures and distracting backgrounds from any images.

Additionally, users are now also given the opportunity to draw with tablets with a new brush feature. This new brush feature supports brushes customisation on touch pressure and sensitivity. "Foreseeing various technologies on portable and handy design works, Pixlr 2022 provides a wide selection of touch pressure points for a seamless designing experience," said Pixlr.

To keep up with the trends, the new Pixlr has also established a new pop-up window to keep users in the loop with highlights, updates, and upcoming templates, among others. Ensuring a stress-free and informative inbox with exclusive in-app updates, Pixlr X and Pixlr E allow the users to pick and choose their preferences without any hassle. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Pixlr for additional information regarding Pixlr X and Pixlr E.

“Pixlr 2022 is our most impressive release so far. Not only making photo editing and design much better with news like magic object removal, pen and tablet support, we are also adding powerful one-click animation functions,” said Pixlr’s founder, Ola Sevandersson. “This will open up a completely new creative space that lets users reach far beyond static photos. I can't wait to see what our millions of users will create next," he added.

Earlier this month, Pixlr launched Pixlr Genesis, a NFT-based movement to build the world’s largest decentralised art museum on the metaverse. The move was to build a 100% decentralised art museum on the metaverse to rival the Louvre, MOMA and National Gallery. Pixlr Genesis aimed to empower creators and art owners to display 10,000 pieces of NFTs to the entire world in a crowdsourced museum.

Pixlr Genesis would consist of a full ecosystem to define new boundaries of art and intellectual property. It will have a PIXLR Gallery, which is a decentralised art gallery for the ages to showcase NFTs owned by the 10,000 members. The PIXLR Masterpiece would have 10,000 art pieces on display will be commissioned every six month and be time-stamped for records.
