Piaggio Asia Pacific settles PR account

Designer and manufacturer of two-wheeled motor vehicles Piaggio Asia Pacific has appointed The Hoffman Agency as its public relations agency of record, following a pitch.

The agency has been contracted for a period of 12 months. The Hoffman team will support the company’s communications strategy and generate product awareness as part of an integrated program covering the organisation’s markets across Asia Pacific.

The agency will also lead the regional coordination for the Piaggio brands in markets such as  Singapore, Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Australia, Cambodia, Indonesia, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.

“The Hoffman Agency’s experience and track record makes them a perfect fit to drive the Piaggio vision throughout the region,” Dario Damati, Asia Pacific strategic marketing director at Piaggio Group, said.

Shawn Balakrishnan, general manager, The Hoffman Agency Singapore, said: “It’s early days yet, but we have already begun to initiate our plan to expand the brand’s audience through our unique storytelling and digital expertise.”
