Pernod Ricard elevates Asia marketing VP Tracy Kwan to MD for HK and Macau

Spirits seller Pernod Ricard has promoted Tracy Kwan to managing director for Hong Kong and Macau. According to her LinkedIn, Kwan joined the company in September 2017 as regional marketing director and was promoted to vice president of marketing for Asia in April 2018, a position she has held up until now. 

As a seasoned marketer, Kwan boasts extensive knowledge and experience in the industry. Before joining Pernod Ricard, she worked for Procter & Gamble for more than 13 years, with her last position being marketing director - APAC Baby and Fem. Based in Singapore, she was also responsible for the business of Pampers. At P&G, Kwan also handled various types of products such as household care and hair care products. In an earlier stage of her career, Kwan worked for PwC for less than a year. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Kwan for more details.

Approximately a year ago, marketing director of Southeast Asia Janelle Tong who held the role for seven years also left the company. Tong joined Pernod Ricard in 2016 as strategy and activation director Asia, where she was based in Hong Kong. She subsequently got promoted to marketing director of Asia, and relocated to Singapore in 2017.

Meanwhile, In January 2020 Pernod Ricard Malaysia named Faye Yong its marketing director. Yong was previously with Vinda Group SEA, a company that produces hygiene products, for about four years. Yong was responsible for marketing and will oversee the whole Pernod Ricard portfolio for Malaysia.
