Peony Wu promoted as Nestlé account lead at O&M China

Ogilvy & Mather China has promoted Peony Wu, currently managing director of Ogilvy & Mather Beijing, as lead of Nestlé account in Greater China.Wu continues her role in driving digital transformation as chief digital officer of Ogilvy & Mather China, and remains the member of Ogilvy & Mather China’s executive committee.Taking over Wu's O&M Advertising role is Sandy Ng, who also continues to oversee Raynet Ogilvy Beijing.Commenting on the changes, Chris Reitermann, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather China, said: “These moves are indicative of O&M China’s focus on our key clients and operational integration, in a way that allows us to best access resources across the group."Peony and Sandy are inspiring leaders with deep experience across clients and disciplines, making them fundamental in continuing to advance our transformation."Wu said: “I have worked with a diverse set of Ogilvy teams and have seen, first hand, that when we come together and bring the best of Ogilvy to our clients, we can bring serious impact to their business.”On the other hand, Ng in her new role will oversee both agencies, which remain operationally separated.In reference to her new position, Ng added: “Strong brands increasingly matter in a slowing China economy. O&M Advertising is uniquely set up to help our clients, local and multinational to build brands that matter to consumers through strong insights, creativity and a deep understanding of the digital landscape."
