Otterbox on branding push with the help of SPH and Ogilvy

Otterbox as an innovator of protective solutions for mobile phones launched a branding campaign made up of three creative executions conceptualised and produced by Ogilvy Singapore. Otterbox is running a campaign on SPH’s digital screens at Chevron House and 313@somerset until 22 January 2017.These locations are strategically selected to reach out to the PMEBs in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District and hordes of shoppers along the Orchard shopping belt. Each visual captures one humorous moment which transcends culture. Using Martin Parr’s photography style that’s natural, vibrant and unrehearsed, they capture these foolish moments which they know could end badly and turn them into epic advertising campaign, laced with humour but very potently drives the need for this strong, protective product.“Most phone cover ads shout about their product benefits. This campaign speaks more to human behaviour, those few moments when good judgment takes a back seat and gives way to crazy, bold, brave ideas. It touches on the very reason why every human being with a mobile phone, needs our phone covers. And it adds a little humour into your daily commute.” Patrick Waller, VP APAC marketing and e-commerce, Otterbox.
