Global smartphone brand OPPO has launched a new campaign that challenges Singaporeans to #CreateYourWorld using the latest OPPO Reno2. To bring the campaign to life, the smartphone brand has engaged individuals from its OPPO Makers initiative to demonstrate the phone’s features through videos and images that embodies #MySingapore.
These include Singaporean photographers and videographers Tim Wah, Dan Ng, Andy Yong and Cloe Mak. To mark the launch of the new OPPO Reno2, each OPPO Maker will be tasked to showcase their own unique perspective of Singapore. Marketing has reached out to OPPO for additional information on the campaign.
Meanwhile, OPPO has also unveiled a #BeAStorygrapher short film competition in its effort to aid young talents in Singapore. The smartphone brand is challenging aspiring local filmmakers to use the new OPPO Reno2 to create a short film that represents their own perspective of Singapore. OPPO will be presenting the winners of the competition with cash prizes and a paid-for trip.
According to Moon Yue, CEO, OPPO Singapore, inheriting the creative spirit of the OPPO Reno, the latest smartphones in the series offer Singaporeans even more creative possibilities and empowers individuals to discover new perspectives.

We believe that through this competition, we can provide a platform for budding creatives in Singapore to find new ways to express themselves and capture their creative vision, and I am very excited to see the entries we will receive,” Dylan Yu, marketing director, OPPO Singapore said.
Recently, OPPO inked a multi-year partnership with video developer Riot Games to become the exclusive official global smartphone partner for League of Legends (LoL) esports international events. The partnership will last through 2024 and OPPO will have year-round activations centred around the sport’s three annual global tournaments – the Mid-Season Invitational, the All-Star Event, and the World Championship.
