WDA retains OMD

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has appointed OMD as its media agency for a period of two years, Marketing understands.Earlier in June, it posted a tender looking for an agency to provide media strategy consultancy services for the Singapore market.Last August, OMD, ZenithOptimedia and IPG (UM) were picked as the three agencies under WDA and were all appointed for a period of one year, with the option to extend for another.When last asked by Marketing if the new tender is in relation to last August's appointment, both WDA and OMD declined to comment. WDA also appointed Ogilvy & Mather (Singapore) to handle its social media duties earlier this year.
