
O&M Malaysia head of digital and social James Gaubert exits

Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia's head of digital and social James Gaubert (pictured) has left the agency. A spokesperson from the agency confirmed the departure and said it is actively looking for a replacement.Gaubert joined the agency last September, reporting to CEO David Mayo, and headed the Social@Ogilvy division. He also worked alongside chief creative officer Gavin Simpson and chief operations officer Jacey Lee on delivering creative client solutions that maximise digital reach and customer engagement.Prior to his latest role, Gaubert was CEO of SEO agency Bruce Clay Middle East for more than two years. During his time there, he handled clients across multiple industries including Unilever, Porsche, Cartier, Calvin Klein, IKEA, Yamaha and General Motors.Prior to joining Bruce Clay, Gaubert was the general manager at MRM//McCann and the marketing director at LBi US for two years respectively. He also worked at ICLP, Potion Public Relations and Slipstream Global.
