Hot: Old Spice Internetervention
4 out of 5 stars
“Old Spice’s Internetervention” was an inspiring campaign that engaged users to want to seek out and share everything with their friends by sending pranks. Not only were the nine websites very random and perfect in targeting men, but it was perfect in driving an incredible amount of views and shares. The high level of fun and engagement urged you to want to visit all the websites. The best part of this campaign was the shareability and pranking of your friends via social media.
NOT: Rio Mints Surprisingly Burgundy
1 out of 5 stars
Rio Mints ended the year with a bang and tried to captivate its audience with an off the cuff video that went viral. What was meant to be a promotion of its Burgundy grape-flavoured mints, was weird, quirky and memorable, but maybe not for all the right reasons. Nonetheless it went viral and could have really leveraged the momentum with a better integration with other social elements.
