Ogilvy PR boss Steve Dahllof retires

CEO and president of Ogilvy PR Asia Pacific Steve Dahllof (pictured) will retire at the end of 2013 after 26 years with the agency and will give his seat to Scott Kronick, current president of Ogilvy PR North Asia who has also spent the same time with the agency.Dahlloff will remain a consultant at Ogilvy PR while Kronick will assume his role on 1 January, 2014.Based in Beijing, Kronick will be supported by a team of 13 leaders in the Ogilvy PR China Executive Committee led by Debby Cheung, group managing director of Ogilvy PR China.“Steve has been an agent of change throughout his long career with Ogilvy and his time as a leader in Asia is no exception,” said Christopher Graves, Global CEO, Ogilvy PR.“He leaves us in a very strong position in the marketplace and for that we will be forever grateful."Kronick joined Ogilvy PR in New York in 1987 before moving to Asia four years later to expand the Taipei office. His subsequent years were spent in greater China.
