Ogilvy's customer experience and engagement arm Ogilvy One and Ogilvy's Verticurl have appointed Nathan Petralia (pictured) as the new country head for Hong Kong.

This role is established to accelerate Ogilvy One's expansion and focus on growth in the Hong Kong market amid increasing demand for innovative digital strategies and customer-centric solutions, drawing from Petralia's track record in launching and scaling operations where he designed go-to-market strategies that became blueprints for other markets and integrated AI-powered technologies for clients.

In the newly created role, Petralia is tasked at driving market growth by deepening relationships with existing clients, securing new business opportunities, and leading digital transformation efforts focused on customer experience, data and omnichannel marketing.

Prior to Ogilvy, he was most recently the product lead at buy.social, driving product strategy, development, and operational readiness of the AI-powered social commerce platform.

Previously, he was the managing director of Merkle Hong Kong, delivering omnichannel strategies, implementing innovative technologies, and driving sustainable revenue growth.

They both report to Chris Reiterman, CEO of Ogilvy APAC and Greater China.

These are newly created roles aimed at strengthening collaboration and continuity to meet the evolving needs of both local and global clients. Together, they lead the advertising team and business operations, driving growth, innovation, and culture within the advertising unit.

While their primary focus is on the Hong Kong market, their remit also includes positioning Ogilvy Advertising Hong Kong as a strategic hub for Chinese brands going global and international brands expanding into Asia.
