Ogilvy & Mather has announced the promotion of Adam O’CConor to a newly created role of chief executive officer of the Ogilvy Group in Hong Kong.
O’Conor was previously Ogilvy & Mather Advertisingâ€™s managing director in Hong Kong, a post he held for three years.
Reporting to Paul Heath, CEO of Ogilvy & Mather Asia Pacific, he will take over the day-to-day operations of the Hong Kong agency working closely with Heath.
“He has a proven track record when it comes to new business and has demonstrated strong leadership during difficult times,” Heath said in a statement.”
“I’m confident his mix of experience will help the team continue to grow our strength across all disciplines and ensure the group plays a pivotal role as one of our major hub markets in Asia.”
Ogilvy Hong Kong was recently named Agency of the Year at Marketing’s annual agency awards, collecting 11 Gold accolades and two Silver metals.
