Ogilvy Public Relations managing director, Jacey Lee has been promoted as Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia’s new chief operating officer.
Having been part of Ogilvy for over nine years, Lee has a proven track record of problem-solving and has effectively shaped Ogilvy Public Relations into a formidable and respected consultancy. In her new role, Lee will be charged with planning and directing the company’s operational policies, initiatives, and goals and be involved in shaping the strategic business direction of Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia.
Shireen Peterson, Campbell Cannon and Nizwani Shahar have also been promoted to managing partners of Ogilvy & Mather Malaysia. As managing partners, the trio will work closely with the creative and planning teams in combining their talents to deliver top-notch work for clients.
Together, they will work alongside Ogilvy Malaysia chief creative officer, Gavin Simpson and Lee on both creative and operational aspects. The trio will report to John Deschner, Ogilvy Malaysia Chief Executive Officer.
The announcement is part of a series of promotions, in line with the company’s ongoing internal restructuring exercise. Last week Ogilvy & Mather Kuala Lumpur appointed Tan Chee Keong as group executive creative director for the network. He joined Ogilvy from BBDO Proximity Malaysia, where he previously held the role of executive creative director.
