OGAWA brings in Catriona Gray to redefine wellness with tech-driven massage chairs

In its new wellness campaign, OGAWA Philippines is speaking to daily exhaustion, self-repair, and the quiet ritual of coming home. And who better to front this story than Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray?
The newly launched campaign, “The universe within your reach,” puts Gray at its centre - not just as a recognisable face, but as a figure who symbolises poise under pressure and the need for grounding amidst public chaos.
“With her grace, elegance, and commitment to wellness, Catriona embodies everything OGAWA stands for. Together, we’re creating a world where relaxation knows no bounds and every individual can experience the luxury they deserve,” the company said in a statement.

OGAWA’s offering sits in an interesting crossroad between tech and tradition. While the campaign uses the familiar tropes of elegance and luxury, the products themselves are rooted in physiological function and AI-enabled personalisation.
Take the Maestro Powered by Overseer, for instance. This flagship model features a 4D massage mechanism, an intuitive touch interface, voice and AI controls, and even music therapy via binaural beats, OGAWA explained. It’s an ecosystem of calm wrapped in an armchair. Then there’s the BioVis Powered by Overseer, a sensor-driven release with specs such as a Flex Track Expansion System and KinectBack 5D Gearbox, among others.
“This campaign is not just about products - it’s about empowering people to prioritise their well-being,” said Marianne Rodillo, marketing head of OGAWA Philippines. “At OGAWA, we don’t just make machines. We create personalised wellness experiences powered by smart innovation, bringing comfort, luxury, and healing into your everyday life.”
It’s a positioning that feels particularly resonant in today’s post-pandemic world, where health isn’t just medical - it’s holistic. And where consumers aren’t just buying items - they’re subscribing to a way of living.
The tagline, “The universe within your reach,” serves not only as a nod to Gray’s pageant legacy but as a metaphor for how wellness, once gated behind luxury spas or medical retreats, can now begin at home.
“My days can get really hectic with shoots, travel, and events, so coming home to my OGAWA massage chair is the ultimate treat,” Gray said. “It brings me instant relaxation, bliss, and comfort - it’s like having my own sanctuary of calm right in my living room.”
“At OGAWA, we believe in pampering our customers to the fullest. That’s why we’re dedicated to elevating your at-home experience to new heights,” the firm added.
