Nissin Foods gets PR help

Popular Japanese noodle brand, Nissin Foods has appointed boutique marketing and PR agency, CYAN Communications. The appointment comes following a pitch that Nissin Foods had conducted earlier in June.

The agency will carry out all local PR, digital and on ground activation duties. CYAN will also offer consumer communication, planning and execution, and brand building council to the brand. It will manage the Nissin and Myojo noodle brands under the Nissin Food umbrella. The account is understood to be worth a six figure sum.

Sadamichi Yamazaki, director at Nissin Foods (Asia) said: “As the leading instant noodles provider and manufacturer in Singapore, we’d like to reignite people’s relationship with instant noodles and better inform them on their noodle consumption. Even though we are a leading market player in the field of instant noodles, we would need to engage the market beyond point of sales, and that said, still have much to do.

In addition, CYAN has also been appointed the PR agency of record for Pioneer Electronics. The win will see CYAN managing all PR related activities for Pioneer Electronics covering the headphones product line.
