New boutique agency sets up

A new boutique agency specialising in brand activation and consumer engagement has set up locally. Named Govt, the agency was founded by Leon Lai, Aaron Koh and Casey Loh.Lai (pictured) was the one of the founders of local agency Riot and will manage the business development and account servicing aspect of the business. Previously engaged with DDB Singapore, Koh returns from his stint with BBH Shanghai to lead the creative aspect of the business.Loh has also held various stints in DDB Singapore, M&C Saatchi Malaysia and Iris Nation Singapore and will take on the role of senior copywriter.The first project that Govt will be embarking on is to produce art installation talking pieces for local annual dance festival ZoukOut 2012. As Zouk gears itself to be more environmentally conscious, it has tasked the agency in creating a photo booth and resting area that is in tune with its current "The Surreal Seaside" theme while being environmentally conscious.The agency told Marketing that other clients have come on board but declined to reveal any names.
