New AXN Hit Series, Mentholatum Gets Clicking

AXN premieres another hit TV series

AXN has rolled out its latest original production, Cyril’s Family Vacation: Hawaii Edition, receiving high viewership rates in English entertainment channels in Southeast Asia. The six-part series follows the global network’s 2009 production Cyril: Simply Magic, which was a top-rated programme in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan. The premiere of the Hawaii edition involved an Asian publicity tour to cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Manila and Mumbai, allowing partners, clients and channel subscribers to interact with main character Cyril. The series is an original production from Sony Pictures Television Networks in Asia, Sony Pictures Entertainment Japan’s AXN Mystery, Charis Entertainment and Focus Group Limited.

Mentholatum enlists PurpleClick

The Mentholatum Company which specialises in healthcare products has appointed PurpleClick Media to handle local search engine marketing strategy and to manage its campaign in increasing online presence in Singapore. PurpleClick Media will also be tasked to create awareness for the brand, Hada Labo. Under this appointment, PurpleClick will help to drive online awareness for Hada Labo products. To achieve brand awareness impact, PurpleClick will use technologies such as keyword and ad copy targeting.

Reading Room’s new app for Men’s Health Week

In support of Men’s Health Week, digital agency Reading Room has taken a challenge to develop a mobile web app for men within 48 hours. The goal is to design an easy way for charity Prostate Action to help men monitor their health and diagnose benign prostatic hyperplasia. Reading Room, Netbiscuits and Prostate Action hope to raise awareness of the condition and enable men to easily track their health using their mobile phone.
