NETS (Network for Electronic Transfers) has appointed social and mobile agency KRDS Singapore as its social media agency for the year following a multi-agency pitch. KRDS Singapore will now be handling NETS’ Facebook and Instagram accounts.
The agency confirmed the win to Marketing adding that using social media, the agency will help NETS maintain its legacy of over 25 years. It will push on consumer preference for making the card the most widely used e-payment option in Singapore.
Preetham Venkky, head of digital strategy and business at KRDS Asia, said that during the research stage of the pitch, the agency realised that NETS in Singapore has not only more presence, but also more flexibility and convenience for day-to-day transactions as compared to its competitors.
“We are quite excited to be working with NETS and help customers realise its omni-presence as an e-payments option. Social media will be used to showcase user stories around the relevance of NETS Flash Pay but will also highlight the best deals NETS users can get suing their cards,” Venkky added.
