Netcore doubles down on Indonesia with new data centre, talent push
share on
As Indonesia’s digital economy races ahead, marketing tech giant Netcore Cloud is setting down deeper roots - cementing its ten-year presence with a new data centre, Jakarta-based teams, and an expanded product suite aimed squarely at the country’s eCommerce, retail, and financial services sectors.
The Indian-founded SaaS firm, known for its AI-powered customer engagement tools, now serves more than 100 brands across Indonesia. With clients including INDODAX, Erajaya, Smartfren, and Domino’s Indonesia, Netcore is positioning itself as a partner for digital transformation - not just an automation vendor.
This localisation move is anchored by two core developments: a local data centre that addresses compliance and latency concerns for enterprise clients, and the rollout of Indonesia-focused features within its product stack.

“Indonesia represents a high-growth market where brands need cutting-edge, scalable, and AI-driven martech solutions to stay ahead,” said Triton Dsouza, Netcore Cloud’s senior vice president for Southeast Asia. “Our enhanced presence in Jakarta allows us to provide businesses with greater local support, unlocking new opportunities for personalised engagement and business growth.”
Netcore’s deepened local play is not just about boots on the ground, but brains on the cloud. It recently launched Co-Marketer, an AI-powered assistant tailored to the Indonesian market, helping marketers craft App and Browser Push Notifications via natural language commands. It also brings in Unbxd, a search and merchandising platform acquired by Netcore, to optimise the eCommerce experience with personalised shopper journeys.
These tools are part of Netcore’s broader Omnichannel Customer Engagement Personalisation suite - offering email APIs, recommendation engines, web personalisation, and product discovery.
Critically, the strategy is bolstered by its alliance with Google Cloud. “Netcore Cloud’s partnership with Google Cloud will help brands deliver more impactful hyper-personalised experiences that boost customer retention and revenue growth,” said Abithab Bhaskar, CEO of international business at Netcore Cloud.
“Google Cloud’s expertise in data analytics and generative AI, combined with Netcore’s deep experience across sectors like eCommerce, banking, finance, securities, insurance, and travel, enables us to create solutions that ensure every brand touchpoint delivers maximum value and enhances the overall customer experience,” he added.
By investing locally, Netcore is not just riding the eCommerce wave - it’s laying cables beneath it. The Jakarta data centre, launched in May 2024, is designed to reduce latency while meeting data sovereignty expectations - a growing concern as regional regulators tighten controls on how multinational tech firms store and process user information.
Meanwhile, its localised consultant teams are tasked with translating Netcore’s global SaaS offerings into sector-specific value for Indonesia’s fragmented but fast-digitising landscape - from digital-first startups to state-linked conglomerates.
