National Arts Council on the hunt for marcomms partner

The National Arts Council (NAC) has called for a tender to appoint a marketing and communications partner. The appointment will last through 2017 with an option to renewal for two years, subject to review. According to NAC, the briefing for the pitch is set to take place on 2 June 2017 this Friday.The appointed agency will provide creative services for NAC’s marketing and communications campaigns. This includes the conceptualisation and execution of creative campaigns, design, adaptation and production of collaterals. Other duties include campaign analysis and measurement.Projects the agency will be involved in include engagement activities for NAC’s Singapore Writers Festival, Singapore Art Week, Arts in Your Neighbourhood, Noise Singapore Festival and Got To Move, to name a few.It will also engage in initiatives to raise the profile of the Singapore arts scene. This includes the Public Art Trust, Arts Advocacy and Micro Giving campaign. Meanwhile the agency will also be involved in undertaking projects relating to corporate needs such as annual reports and award ceremonies such as Patron of the Arts, Cultural Medallion and Young Artist Award, and more.Earlier this year, NAC appointed X Collective, under the SMRT Commercial arm, to produce the National Arts Council’s A List Singapore. A revamped printed magazine and website was launched, along with a digital content plan.In June last year, the council appointed Ogilvy & Mather Singapore to undertake public relations duties for a period of one year, with an option to renew an additional year, according to GeBiz. Other firms which also pitched for the account were Apco Worldwide and WE Communications. In the same month, NAC also appointed Black Design as its creative partner for selected NAC projects for a period of two years, with an option for renewal.
