MyCreative Ventures, the government investment arm supporting Malaysia’s creative industries, has appointed Ariff Communications to lead digital marketing and public relations for RIUH for the 2026/2027 season.

RIUH is a curated creative platform under MyCreative Ventures that brings together homegrown brands, creative entrepreneurs, artists and performers through events, markets, workshops and cultural programming.

Ariff Communications will oversee RIUH’s social media strategy and content development, alongside media relations, creator collaborations and campaign-led storytelling. The remit will cover RIUH’s digital, social and earned media activity throughout the 2026/2027 season.

The appointment extends Ariff Communications’ existing relationship with RIUH, with the agency having previously handled its digital marketing and public relations from May 2025 to May 2026.

For the new season, the agency will continue to work across RIUH’s social channels and media relations, with creator partnerships and campaign activity forming part of the remit.

Aisya Hashim, director at Ariff Communications, said: “RIUH occupies an important space within Malaysia’s creative ecosystem. It does more than bring people together. It gives local creatives, entrepreneurs, performers and cultural communities a platform to be discovered, supported and celebrated.

“Our focus for the next season is to build on this momentum with braver storytelling, stronger community participation and a more integrated digital and PR approach. We want to help RIUH remain relevant throughout the year while strengthening its position as one of Malaysia’s leading cultural platforms," she added.

The RIUH appointment follows other recent account developments for Ariff Communications. JETOUR Malaysia appointed the agency as its PR partner for a one-year term, while consumer electronics brand Hisense renewed its partnership with the agency through 2027. Hong Kong Tourism Board has also extended its Malaysia communications mandate with Ariff Communications for another two years.

Founded in 2017, Ariff Communications works across PR, social media and digital communications, with clients including Xiaomi, Qualcomm, Ninja Van and inDrive.
