MTV has appointed Dentsu Singapore for MTV Exit, a brand under the global MTV network. MTV Exit is a worldwide campaign that aims to contribute to a reduction in human trafficking and exploitation.
Following a pitch in August 2013, Dentsu was selected to overhaul MTV Exit’s digital assets. Dentsu Singapore is tasked with creating an engaging, interactive platform that is a one-stop source of information for the youth in an attempt to take action against human trafficking.
MTV Exit aims to engage and empower young people with the information they need to join the fight against human trafficking. MTV Exit produces on air programming, live events and youth engagement activities.
Matt Love, director of MTV Exit said, “Our goal is to provide an engaging platform for our online community to access our latest programs, music videos, blog articles and information about human trafficking.
MTV Exit has held 38 awareness-raising concerts in 18 countries, reaching over 850,000 people on the ground with critical information about human trafficking. Most recently over 13,500 people came together for MTV Exit’s 2013 Roadshow this month Myanmar, as part of the organisation’s ongoing effort to raise awareness of human trafficking and exploitation in the country.
