Men’s Health Malaysia has found a new publisher in Mongoose Publishing after a 10 year relationship with Blu Inc.
The new direction will take effect nationwide beginning with the January 2014 issue.
Men’s Health is a men’s magazine brand owned by Rodale Inc, United States of America. With 40 international editions, they claim a total readership of over 10 million readers.
Mongoose tells A+M that the change will give Men’s Health a fresh face and enhanced content. The move will not affect Men’s Health’s image as a health magazine for active, successful, professional men who want greater control over their physical, mental and emotional lives.
Graham Paling, group chief executive officer of Mongoose, said, “Men’s Health is one of the most inspiring and famous magazine brands in the world. We are extremely proud of the acquisition and can’t wait to get started.”
An editor-in-chief has not been named.
Mongoose Publishing counts Esquire Malaysia, Time Out KL, Expatriate Lifestyle and the soon-to-be-launched ELLE Malaysia as part of their portfolio.
