Mondelez gets new APAC lead

Mondelez has appointed Tim Cofer (pictured) as executive vice president and president, Asia Pacific and Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa (EEMEA) for Mondelēz International, with immediate effect.Cofer will be based in Singapore. Brands under Mondelēz International include Cadbury Dairy Milk, Oreo, Trident, Halls, Jacob’s and Tang.Marketing will be a key area of Cofer's responsibility, a spokesperson for Mondelez said.Most recently, Cofer led the company's US$14 billion European business, based in Zurich, Switzerland, and held the role of  senior vice president, strategy and integration, leading global integration efforts following the company's acquisition of Cadbury in early 2010.
