Ministry of Social and Family Development picks digital agency of record

The Social Development Network (SDN), under the Ministry of Social and Family Development, has appointed Carbon Interactive as its digital agency of record to undertake the provision of digital content management in 2017.

This appointment comes after a public tender announced late last year, with 10 agencies vying for the account.

Carbon's responsibilities will comprise the development of digital content, social media campaigns and email marketing; digital strategy consultancy; and management of SDN's social media accounts.

This is the second time Carbon has been appointed by SDN. The agency was first appointed in 2014, to build an online community and create a series of engagement initiatives on Facebook.

“We are elated to be appointed again for this account. This appointment has validated Carbon’s in-depth understanding of social media as well as expertise in helping brands create relevant content across different digital platforms,” said Jeffrey Lim, general manager of Carbon Interactive.
