MediaCom APAC COO takes on a global role

MediaCom Worldwide has appointed 23-year agency veteran Fraser Riddell to lead a new practice, MediaCom Beyond Borders, dedicated to international advertisers based in the US.The development has led to other regional management changes. Replacing Riddle in his current role as global chief business development officer is Toby Jenner (pictured), currently COO of MediaCom APAC.Riddle will take on the role of MediaCom's global chief client officer.Jenner joined MediaCom Australasia as CEO in 2008, leading the team to acquire several accounts such as Yum!, IAG, Foxtel, Danone, EA and others.The change in role will see Jenner relocate from Singapore to New York in June. He joins Riddell on MediaCom's Worldwide Executive Committee as well.Riddell, over the years, has worked with some of MediaCom's largest international clients, including Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola, Universal Music, Oracle and Shell.According to the agency, since becoming the head of global new business five years ago, he and his team have delivered over US$9billion in new billings.In his new role, Riddell will focus on elevating the worldwide service MediaCom provide to international advertisers based in the United States, and will assume additional global client responsibilities.Stephen Allan, chairman and CEO, MediaCom Worldwide said, "Riddle will be able to offer USA-based worldwide clients the central leadership and specialist services they require, while Jenner will have the opportunity to apply his business-building skills to a larger, worldwide canvas."
