The newly set up Mcgarrybowen Hong Kong has appointed Vincent Tse (pictured right) and Leung Chung (left) as creative directors.
The two will serve as creative leads in Mcgarrybowen Hong Kong, part of Mcgarrybowen’s Greater China operation, which is led by CEO Simone Tam and CCO Jeffry Gamble.
“I have always believed that our duty and the role of the agency is to help our client’s business,” Tse told Marketing.
“As solution-based agency, Mcgarrybowen truly believes in helping client’s business by providing integrated solution. And the entrepreneurial attitude also gives us more flexibility to try and to work out our thought.”
Both Tse and Chung are ex-DDB creatives. Chung joined DDB Hong Kong as creative director in 2013 and Tse joined a year after.
Prior to joining DDB, Chung was creative director at Leo Burnett Greater China and Tse was associate creative director at Grey Hong Kong.
“Since I joint DDB Hong Kong under Jeffry Gamble, and partner with Vincent, we always focus on the creative effectiveness and putting on the clients hat, rather than being creative for the seek of creative,” said Chung.
“That’s the value and belief that fueling us to keep changing, no matter what the trend is, no matter what mediums we need to use in our campaign.”
Tse added: “I have been working with Chung for three years, and we are always interested in talents who share the same belief with us.”
