The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) is on the lookout for an agency for the conceptualisation, development and implementation of an integrated digital communications plan.
According to Gebiz, this plan is to strengthen the Singapore spirit and connection to Singapore. The appointed agency will undertake consultancy services, public relations as well as handle advertising and graphics.
Last year MCCY appointed a consortium of agencies for its Singapore50, or SG50, community outreach and engagement campaign. Winning the account is a consortium led by DDB Singapore which includes UM Singapore and Tribal Worldwide, each responsible for creative, media and digital duties respectively, Marketing understands from its sources. Ogilvy & Mather was the lead creative agency.
The move follows a recent flush of government tenders which saw the People’s Association, Infocommunications Development Authority of Singapore and the Public Utilities Board looking to appoint agencies to undertake social media duties as well as events management.
The National Council of Social Service also called a tender for a digital agency in May, and picked its creative and media partners as Wild Advertising & Marketing and Mediacom respectively for a disability awareness campaign.
