Mccann Next and ASB partner up for new digital marketing course

Mccann Next and Asia School of Business (ASB), in collaboration with Mit Sloan School of management, is hoping to shape future digital leaders.The three have created a digital marketing course as the follow-up after the Marketing Management course in ASB. The course will perform six essential hacks to formulate and execute a digital marketing strategy. In order to make this course truly engaging, realistic and interactive, firms will be present in the ASB MBA classroom and work with the students closely.The course will take approximately two and a half months. The students will go through three different steps that are similar to Google’s online marketing challenge – Formulate, Execute and Evaluate. The firms or SMEs that are currently registered for the course are Collective Intelligence Project, Eventda, FazForward, Guitar Empire, IGL Coatings, Qwork, Rainforest Herbs, The Lost Food Project (TLFP), UNRESERVED, Yoke & Theam and Asia School of Business.For the students to learn and practice specific Digital language, McCann NEXT will be utilising its own proprietary PXL course material.  PXL, which means Play, Experience and Learn, is a digital training programme created to aid in the global development of talent and introduce skills which will allow everyone to appreciate the multifaceted aspects of creating complex and digitally-activated work.McCann NEXT will also be sending digital experts to be guest speakers. Asia School of Business (ASB) is a new global graduate school of business in Kuala Lumpur, established by Bank Negara Malaysia in collaboration with MIT Sloan School of Management.
