Maybank Singapore has appointed Hashtag Interactive to handle digital duties for a period of one year. The appointment follows a pitch held late last year and the incumbent on the account was Envis8ge.
The agency is responsible for managing the bank’s social media platforms, which include content and design development, microsite building and digital media planning.
The agency intends to bring the bank’s digital presence to greater heights by establishing the brand’s key message – Humanising Financial Services – to the audience. The strategy includes crafting content that resonates with Maybank’s image and engages the target market to grow closer to the brand.
To further maximise reach, Hashtag Interactive also plans to diversify content into more interactive formats and personalised posts for specific customer personas.
