Maxus appoints Russell Boyman as head of trading in North Asia

Russell Boyman has joined Maxus as head of trading, North Asia, Based in Shanghai, Boyman will directly report to Maxus China president Annie Hsiao, and head of trading Asia Pacific Simon Porter. In his new role, Boyman will be responsible to liaise with GroupM Trading and Xaxis, GroupM’s audience buying company, on behalf of Maxus, and work closely with other business units to further improve service value.With more than 30-year experience, he has great tracking record in trading, account management and new business development roles for media agencies, as well as media owners and marketing service providers.Prior to Maxus, Boyman had been a leading negotiator in the London media agency scene, and a founding partner of MPG (now Havas) where he helped win 6 consecutive new business pitches and guide the agency through several major acquisitions and transitions. More recently he has worked in Eastern Europe, North America and the UK for companies like CBS Outdoor, MTV, Nepa UK (market research), WTG Toronto (B2B conferencing and training) and Active International (barter) as well as running his own executive media consultancy in the digital sphere."This was the perfect opportunity for me to return to my media agency roots. Maxus are a young and entrepreneurial agency network and Asia is the most dynamic market in the world, with a highly evolved digital infrastructure," said Boyman.
