Maxis calls creative pitch

Communications service provider Maxis has called for a creative pitch. The pitch was launched last Thursday.

The chosen agency will be tasked to handle creative duties for the Maxis brand. A+M understands the contract will be for a period of one year with an option to renew for another.

Sulin Lau, head of marketing services, Maxis, said in a statement to A+M: “We are running a small pitch, for new exciting assignments different from Maxis’ existing agency retainer assignments. And we’ve invited the agencies we’ve really enjoyed working with this past year – Leo Burnett, Ogilvy, APD, Ensemble and Kingdom Digital.”

Last September, Maxis departed from its 10-year partnership with Mindshare and appointed Initiative, a subsidiary of IPG Mediabrands, to handle its media business.
