Malaysia Airline and AirAsia have sent out tweets of condolences following the news of the German carrier Germanwings crashing. The carrier had 150 people on board traveling from Barcelona to Düsseldorf.
Both AirAsia and MAS have in recent times faced their own aviation disasters.
Meanwhile, CEO of AirAsia, Tony Fernandes has also sent his condolences. Fernandes has often been lauded on its crisis management strategy and humane approach to leading the brand’s communication strategy.
My thoughts and prayers to all the families and crew involved. And to all my friends in luftansa and German wings stay strong

The campaign is running on MAS’ Facebook and Twitter pages.
Don’t let the memory of our loved ones fade into a tweet or a status update. Honour them and keep them in our hearts. #alwaysinMyHeart
