Malaysia Airports (MAHB) has renewed its appointment of global marketing agency TEAM LEWIS Malaysia as its public relations and social media strategy for its commercial services division — a collaboration aimed at elevating the retail experience for travelers across Malaysia’s airports.
TEAM LEWIS told A+M, that its continued partnership with MAHB reinforces the agency's role as a trusted communications partner, helping to shape narratives that align with Malaysia Airports’ mission to connect people, places, and possibilities.
The scope of work includes integrated PR, digital storytelling, and event support — all tailored to spotlight the vibrancy and value of the airport retail journey.

Previously, TEAM LEWIS drove publicity for Malaysia Airport's "The Alice's adventures: a magical Christmas" campaign at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), which transformed the airport into a whimsical holiday destination for year-end travelers.
Besides generating buzz around the campaign, the agency also boosted it across social media on Malaysia Airports and the shopMYAirports accounts. The social campaign also featured influencers such as Kittie Yiyi, Melissa Tan, Diana Nasir, as well as partnerships with media outlets Tatler Asia and Makchic.
In addition, TEAM LEWIS Malaysia worked on MAHB's flagship annual shopping campaign "License to win 2024". The shopping campaign had previously been on a four-year hiatus due to the global pandemic. It was designed to reward travelers for spending at retail and dining outlets across Malaysia’s international airports.
“This partnership reflects more than just a renewal. It’s a shared commitment to keep moving forward, inspire trust, and create relevant narratives that enhance perception and drive growth," said Ann Chong, managing director TEAM LEWIS Malaysia.
"As Malaysia Airports prepares for an influx of tourists ahead of Visit Malaysia Year 2026, we’re proud to bring the energy, insight, and certainty they need to stand out — especially in the ever-evolving retail experience. Together, we’re not just supporting a brand, but a national symbol of pride and connectivity,” she added.
This renewed partnership is a testament to Malaysia Airports’ confidence in TEAM LEWIS’ strategic thinking and creative execution, further strengthening the agency’s position as a key player in Malaysia’s communications landscape, the agency said in a release.
