



Alliance Bank and Fabrik Asia triumph at Marketing Events Awards 2025

Alliance Bank stole the spotlight at this year’s Marketing Events Awards, taking home the coveted Event Marketer of the Year title with a staggering five Gold, seven Silver, and one Bronze wins. The bank’s standout performance was powered by a series of purposeful, high-impact campaigns, including “Alliance BizSmart challenge: Elevator pitch drives 9% sales growth in SME lending”, “By kids, for kids: Spreading the story of financialliteracy in 1,461 schools”, “1st bank cross-sector business conference gets amazing results”, and “Heritage in motion: A purpose-driven run for culture, community & sustainability.”

Executed in close collaboration with Ampersand Advisory, Hamburger Asia, and Spark Capital Development, these campaigns stood out for their creative bravery and commitment to meaningful engagement, clinching trophies across categories such as ‘Best B2B Brand Experience’, ‘Best Community-Focused / Cause-Related Event’, and ‘Best Use of Omnichannel for an Event’, among others.
CapitaLand Investment also made a strong impression this year, bagging three Gold, one Silver, and two Bronze awards for a dynamic mix of campaigns, including “CapitaVerse x Singapore wanderland” with STB on Roblox, “Pixar puffy happiness”, and “A carnival of festive cheer.”
Hot on their heels was GCash, which clinched two Gold, two Silver, and one Bronze for standout initiatives such as “Barangay GCash borrow services activations”, “GCash eco run”, and its 20th Anniversary Gala.
Other top-performing marketers recognised on the night included Google Asia Pacific, Johnnie Walker, Samyang, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore, Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB), Edrington Singapore, and Garnier.
On the agency front, Fabrik Asia was crowned Event Agency of the Year, scoring an impressive six gold, two silver, and five bronze trophies. Fabrik Asia’s winning work spanned categories such as ‘Best Event Branding’, ‘Best Pop-up Experience’, and ‘Best Use of Sponsorships / Partnerships’, with campaigns including “Boiler room Singapore 2024” for Boiler Room TV, “Guinness good times by the quays”, “Hendrick’s sunset cinema 2024”, and “Johnnie Walker x Squid Game.” The agency also teamed up with Insider Communications and BRCKTS on “A carnival of festive cheer” for CapitaLand.

Ampersand Advisory followed closely behind, claiming second place in the agency leaderboard with four Gold, seven Silver, and one Bronze, thanks to its trailblazing work with Alliance Bank across campaigns such as “BizSmart challenge”, “Cross-Sector business conference”, and “Heritage in motion.”
Gusto Collective Singapore also turned in a stellar showing with four Gold, three Silver, and three Bronze, honoured for vibrant campaigns such as “World of wines and spirits 2024” (Changi Airport Group), “Nespresso world of Vertuo 2024”, and “Garnier green academy.”
Other standout agencies recognised for their creativity and craft included amc asia!, I_POSSIBLE, IdeaFactory Advertising, PLUS Collaboratives, The Events Artery, Acteeve, and POPPER ASIA.
