Malaysia Airlines has appointed Schrene Goh Miow Ying (pictured) as head of marketing. She starts her role on 15 December and brings more than 15 years of experience in regional marketing and digital experience.
Goh was most recently the head of marketing, communications, brand and digital for U Mobile for over a year, where she was oversaw the digital engagement and overall direction of the department.
Prior to this she was with AirAsia for over five years, as marketing manager in 2010 for the entire ASEAN network including the India market. According to the group, whilst there she successfully turned the India market to profit and grew Ancillary Income from just RM800k to more than RM1 billion a year.
Last month, Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) announced the appointment of Captain Izham Ismail as the new chief operations officer of Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAS. Captain Izham served a short stint as CEO of MASwings and is now replaced by Aminuddin Zakaria, according to a statement by MAG.
